Home and Away

The morning before these shots were taken i was at this same spot. The early morning fog was rolling down the valleys in the distance and the sun was only just piercing the thick cloud. I didnt have a camera with me so i decided to return that arfternoon.

It was about 5pm and i was standing in the middle of the warf beginning to take a series of shots i was hoping to merge later in photoshop when a disheveled man approached me and asked if i was "a local". I replied and explained to him i lived in Mona Vale which wasn't "far from here."

The man then asked "Is this Summer Bay?"

I said yes.
