hunter or hunted . . .

the summer storm season has given us a sneak peek this afternoon of what we might be in for during december/january. A predicted increase in the ferocity of thunderstorms this summer has certainly got me excited but also worried as the storm hunters now become the hunted!

objections of space

"It is only in the world
of objects that we have time
and space and selves." - T.S. Eliot

Space is the three dimensional expanse in which all objects reside. However, this space is commonly defined by the objects which reside within in it. Do these objects create or destroy space, when inserted into this all encompassing realm? Can space be destroyed or created at all? These questions may seem perplexing and difficult to answer. One method of answering these questions and further understanding the fundamental construct of space is to study the objects which exist within a space. Since by human convention these objects define the space they exist within, they offer an insight into the geometrical world of emptyness. . .
